Secure suppliers from unauthorized users

We have a requirement where we need to restrict access to certain suppliers to specific users. These suppliers should not be queried by other users except the specific users who can access these suppliers. The requirement is to restrict inquiry/view on certain suppliers to limit users from searching and viewing their details i.e., only a group of users should be able to view and inquire on suppliers identified as Confidential. We need to understand if Oracle Fusion supports a way by way of which we can restrict the access to suppliers to specific users only.

The requirement to be addressed - While searching for suppliers through standard "manage Supplier" tasks we do not want to display a certain set of suppliers (Let's say these are confidential). Is there a way where a certain attribute can be identified for such suppliers and data security can be imposed through a custom role o restrict view on the confidential suppliers?
