Approval notification when the project task is completed or getting a progress by team member

Summary:

Hi All,

 

We have an requirement that is once the project team member completes the assign task

(Update the assigned task as completed) or report a progress on a task, it should go for an approval to the project manager before it is updated as completed on the project schedule or the progress is applied.

When i checked for the workflows for PPM i could not see that such workflow meets this requirement. Is there workaround or suggestion to meet this requirement.
