Performance issue while doing Inbound transformation using WSA variable

Summary:

My requirement is to load the Absence Balance Adjustments using HCM Data Loader for which I have developed a Transformation Formula. Using this formula , I need to load 3 business objects , because of which i am using WSA variables to avoid multiple calls of the same employee. Since WSA is used, the threading is changed to 1. Now when i try to run the formula for around 22000 lines of records, the performance is very slow. To avoid duplicates, I need to use single thread at process configuration level.

Can someone throw a light on how to resolve this performance issue?
