Cash Management - Journal Reconciliation - Change of Legal Entity
We have a bank account for which only journal transactions were recorded.
2 years back the legal entity associated with the bank account got merged with another legal entity. Since only journals were entered, this bank account had been kept as it is without changing the legal entity or the company segment in the account.
Bank reconciliation was not implemented at the time of merger.
After 2 years of the merger, we are planning to implementing bank reconciliation.
Currently we are not able to see transactions post merger in the manual reconciliation screen. Before merger GL transactions can be seen.
What would be the best practice if we are to start reconciliation in the system for this bank account?
