Web Reports Converts Text to Date

Summary:

I created a simple report in Web Reports Gen2 to list items and their alternate barcodes:

This is the alt barcode data in WMS:

This is the report result. If the barcode looks like a date it gets converted to a date format. I can't find any function/method to prevent this.

How can I prevent this conversion?
