Oracle HCM BIP Report - Employee Hierarchy query
Summary:
I have a BIP requirement to display the employee details in the report where I need to show the employee details like tree structure.
Eg: Manager A has 2 reportees called B and C
Again Manager B have 2 reportees D and E
Again Manager D have 2 reportees F and G
Let's say if Manager A runs the report, he should able to see the records of B, C , D, E , F and G.
If Manager D runs the report, he should able to see the records of F and G
Here the challenge is, I can get 1 branch of hierarchy eg: B, D, F and not multiple branch B,C, D, E, F and G of employees as requested above using Connect by query. Please let me know if someone achieved it earlier.
