Unable to remove deleted approval rules

Hi,

I would like to understand why deleted Approval Rules are still visible after save and commit under BPM. However, it's not visible "Transaction Manager: Rules".

Do we have any process in place to remove the deleted rules permanently.

Example: For resignation we have created 4 levels of approvals and now we have amended to 3 levels. However we could see the deleted approval under BPM.
