Allow People to Report to each other while using Parent Position Hierarchy

We have a small group of very senior individuals who do not report to anyone, hence lacking true line managers. However, for business and audit purposes, their approvals and notifications need to be routed to someone for review and approval. Currently, these individuals report to each other in a loop (e.g., P1 -> P2 -> P1 or P1 -> P2 -> P3 -> P1).

Current Setup:

  1. We use Position Synchronization and Parent Position Hierarchy to build the Supervisor Hierarchy.
  2. We do not want to use Matrix Manager and aim to allow hierarchical loops (e.g., P1 -> P2 -> P1) for selected individuals.

Howdy, Stranger!
