How to make employment history section read-only through VBS?

Summary:

We have a requirement to make the links under Me>Employment Info>Historical changes read-only as we do not want Employee's to view previous assignment details.

We were able to make this information read only through page composer on the responsive page, but do not see the option to do so on the redwood page through VBS.

How do we make the action read-pnly under Historical changes through VBS?
