Negotiation award approval based on negotiation approval amount field

Our customer requirement is that Award must be submitted for approval based on negotiation approval amount which comes from Req. If the award amount is greater than the negotiation approval amount then the approval routes to requester's hierarchy if under negotiation approval amount auto approved. I see no approval attributes exist for this any workaround please?
