can we delete approver resignation comments through HDL?

Approvers are adding the comments while approving the transactions. Customer needs to delete few comments in the resignation approvals for specific employees and approver comments. Is it possible to delete the Comments while the transaction is in progress or once the transaction is completed through HDL/HSDL?
