Waybill Number Capture against OBLOAD

Summary:

Against OBLOAD we need to capture the Waybill number against LTL Carriers. In the OB Load Form we do not have out of box field and hence we might need to use custom field. We already burned our solution when we enabled custom field to capture freight and accessorial charges and later came to know there is not API which can support this. Does anyone faced the similar requirement in the past and how they address it ?
