Unable to capture Length wise count of boxes in the container

when user try to fill the container with more boxes from orders business unable to capture or get the count of boxes length wise in the container and user changing the container orientation and counting it manually as shown in the attached picture. 

Kindly let us know if this can be achieved to save lot of time in the day to day operations
