Create a validation rule for a particular attribute in Import Maps Template ?

Summary:

In Import Maps Template we have a custom attribute which is a text attribute but in the UI while we configured it inside Trading Partner Items under Relationships of an Item it is dropdown field. How can we have that dropdown feature and its values to that Attribute in Import Maps.
