For Oct-24 month end closing on production instance, while business user clicked on Open Period button, it has opened Nov-24 and Dec-24 periods for few ledgers. Seems it may happened due to "Effective as of date" was 6-Nov-2024 while business user clicked Open Period button. And immediate effect business user closed the DEC-24 period.

Business has done testing in Lower instance, and they have found the issue below.

If we take event in open period (Sep-24) with enable check box 'Reverse the event in the next period'(Nov-24), then new reversal event entry date is taking future enterable month (Dec-24) date instead of next month (Nov-24) date which is in closed status.
