Confirming Future Hires will not be Assigned to Prior Year Compensation Plan

Summary:

We have a 2024 compensation plan and recently added a 2025 compensation plan. We are not able to add in new participants with 2025 hire dates. The 2025 comp plan (and all of its associated plan components, performance measures, credit rules, etc.) has a 1/1/25 start date and a 12/31/25 end date. The Participant Assignment Rules and the Role Assignments are also connected/configured for 2025.

I'd like to confirm that a new participant hire in 2025 will not also be assigned to the 2024 compensation plan. I assume not, but can't find documentation.
