The cost accounting rule not check mapping set in the next priority even the mapping exist.

Summary:

The cost accounting rule not check mapping set in the next priority if output not found from mapping set in previous priority.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

For a segment rule, two mapping sets are defines.

  1. Mapping set1 , priority 1 - Input source is Inventory org. 50 Inv orgs are assigned in the mapping set. - Implemeted in phase 1 about 2 years ago.
  2. Mapping set2, Priority 2 - Input source is Costing Category. For 80 another orgs the account segment to be derived based on costing category - 80 New orgs to be implemented in phase 2.

It is not possible to put (50 or 80) inventory Orgs name in the condition in the accounting rule for two different mapping sets. The expected functionality is if costing will be processed for any of the 80 inventory orgs (phase 2 implementation) , no output will be found from mapping set 1 , priority 1 and it should go to mapping set 2, priority 2 and retrieve the output for the matched costing category. If no mapping value exist then error in costing.

Howdy, Stranger!
