While creating a customer in Oracle EBS, we need to define the Customer Class. Although it's not mandatory, the LOV (List of Values) provides multiple options. I would like to understand the purpose and impact of each option listed below:

  • Fund/Trust
  • Government Organization
  • Government Scheme
  • ISD
  • Insurance/TPA
  • International
  • Others
  • PSU
  • Private Corporate
  • Walk-in General

Could you please provide a detailed explanation of each of these Customer Class options? Specifically:

  1. What is the purpose of each class?
  2. How does it impact transactions or processes?
  3. Which accounts or configurations are affected when these classes are used?
