API to update the expiry date on IBLPN

Hello,

We manage serial-controlled items and track expiry dates alongside serial numbers. For items like batteries, where expiry dates need to be revised, we are looking for an API that allows us to update expiry dates on the IBLPN. However, we could not find any such API in the current functionality.

This limitation poses a significant challenge because the FEFO allocation logic will not work effectively for our business if WMS does not provide a mechanism to update expiry dates of existing inventory via an API.

Please advise if such an API exists.

We tried with an option to issue out the existing LPN and create an new LPN with a new expiry date using Direct_Consume and Composite_Create API, but it didnt work, because Composite_Create API expects batch number as well along with the expiry date, whereas, we do not maintain the batch number but the serial number for the inventory.
