Fixed Assets Adjustment error: Change Depreciation method error

When trying to make a mass adjustment to depreciation method, there is the following error. "You can't change the depreciation reserve and revaluation reserve of an asset in a period other than the period in which the asset was added." The adjustment is to change the method from the current period going forward - the depreciation reserve and revaluation reserve should remain unchanged.
