Requirement to Create asset with amortization start and end date different than Lease term.

Summary:

Our Client has a requirement where has to create the lease term With Amortization Start date and End date (Asset Amortization to have end date different than the lease term), Currently system is not accepting to change the the Amortization end date field which is grade out.

Is there any way to make change in Amortization end date, Your suggestions are very helpful. Thanks in advance
