project Expenditure Item Date

Is it possible to link project costs from PO, AP, or OM and set default dates for the Expenditure Item Date without explicitly specifying it?

For example, set the Expenditure Item Date as the receipt date for PO, the shipment date for OM, and the posting date for AP.
