Questions around field merges on the forms
There is a rising concern around the Eloqua tracking id’s and we're trying to find answers to below questions.
- Do you see any specific impact where removing field merges will stop some feature/process from working, and will negatively impact our customers, beyond the known poor experience with needing to “refill” all forms/fields?
- Are you aware of any other setting/landing page that would somehow divert the field merge functionality, allowing contact data to still populate, post field merge removal? (Yes, we understand we will need to remove web data lookup being used with API, non-landing pages)
- Do you know of any other way to mass manage field merge beyond each form? Is it data that can be set via API? Any central/system wide way to manage it? The point is how do we avoid a mass form update for potentially 1000’s of forms?
