Can we derive Depreciation Expense Account for CIP Asset based on Asset categories

Customer's requirement is to derive Depreciation Expense Account for CIP Asset in PPM based on the Asset Major and Minor Categories. Is there a way we can achieve this. I am able to default the Depreciation Expense Account using TAB but struggling to use Asset Categories to derive it.
