Following is the business case.

We have a customer who is using discrete manufacturing and manufactures item for which Work order may have quantities in thousand and sometime in Lakhs ( million).

They do manufacturing in different shifts.

For such work order material (Component) requirement will be huge.

Say for example: They are manufacturing items X with batch quantity of 100,000. and They require 100,000 quantity of material (component) of items A.

They will be able to complete these in 4 shifts. ( They work 2 shifts a day and hence it will take 2 days to complete the work order.)
