transfer order ship to and deliver to address

Hi,

In Procurement, if the deliver to location on the PO is not a ship to location then, the ship to address showing on the PO sent to the supplier is the address of the "ship to" location set at the "deliver to" location.

Is that logic only applies on PO or also apply on transfer orders?

From what I saw for transfer orders, if the deliver to location is not a "ship to" location then it is still the deliver to address who is printed on the shipping reports. How the carrier will know that the order must be shipped at the "ship to" location address and not directly at the deliver to address?
