EPM Automate error: EPMAT-7: Configuration system failed to initialize

Summary:

My colleague and I are using the same login credentials to access EDMCS using epmautomate. He can log in, but I am unable to do so, and an error message stating that the EPMAT-7:Configuration system failed to start appears.
Could you please tell me how to get over this and utilize the epmautomate functionality?
