How to ignore the supply recommendation for Work Orders

We are planning to create an inventory org which is a contract manufacturer. We do not want to enable the Oracle contract manufacturing in this org.

The requirement is to plan the RM and FG using Oracle supply Planning for this org. We are thinking on below solution:

  1. Setup Item structure and Work definitions in the org
  2. Let supply planning recommend the planned orders for FG. - We do not want to release these planned orders. These should be used only to derive the demand for RM as per item structure.
  3. The FG and RM inventory would be updated using Misc transactions based on the inputs from contract manufacturer.
