Update Member Alias by end user

Hi,

I am looking for an option where an end user (not admin) can update the alias of a member.

I have explored couple of options:

> EPM Automate doesn't have any such command.

> Combination of REST API and Groovy might work.

> File based Metadata integration having Alias information.

Kindly, guide any feasible approach in which I should look into. Thanks.
