Oracle Pricing Cloud as standalone Pricing Engine

Summary:

We are exploring the possibility of utilizing Oracle Pricing Cloud (Not CPQ Cloud Pricing) as a standalone pricing engine for an external third-party Order Management platform. Specifically, we are interested in understanding: 

  • Feasibility of this kind of architecture with examples if possible.
  • API support in Oracle Pricing cloud for this requirement.
  • The challenges and benefits of such a setup.

If you’ve had any experience with this kind of request or insights to share, I’d greatly appreciate your input. Your guidance would help us assess the feasibility and effectiveness of this requirement.
