How to Using Custom Time balance

Hello,
I am using EPBCS.
Is it possible to set the Time Balance of a specific account to Custom and calculate its value using a rule?

When I set the Time Balance of account "A" to Custom and execute a rule to update the YearTotal value, the displayed value is not the calculated value but the same as when the Time Balance is set to Flow.
