Cycle count - Item to be counted once in 2 years

Summary:

We have setup Cycle count frequency "By Period" and selected the required calendar in the Cycle count setup. We run the Generate Count Schedules and Count sequences ESS every month on 1st.

We have certain items that need to be counted once in 2 years. How do we setup the item class for this requirement?

Does the cycle count consider the calendar year automatically for calculating the items to be counted in each run? When the calendar year changes in Jan 2025, does the system consider all items for counting again? Do we need to make any setup changes each year?
