Hi all,
We have a requirement where employees work in various shifts, such as 12-hour, 10-hour, and other shift durations. The situation is as follows:
- If an employee's absence reaches or exceeds 84 hours by the end of a biweekly pay period, 80 hours of vacation will be paid at the regular rate.
- Any additional hours beyond the 80 hours will be paid at a rate of zero.
- This setup ensures that 84 hours are deducted from the employee's absence balance, while the vacation payment is capped at 80 hours.
