change order needs to trigger Item rule in Item Rules Set

short:

(IPC-New = ItemPurchaseCategory-New)

Problem: when a change order on IEF 'IPC-New' is approved, the ItemRule needs to update the item purchasing category with 'IPC-New'-value.

this works when IEF 'IPC-New' is manually updated in the UI-window,

this doesnt work when a change-order is build around the IEF IPC-New.

Detailed:

ISSUE: in PIM, Item > tab categories field 'Purchasing Category' can be changed by 'anyone'.
REQUIREMENT; this Purchasing Category-change needs approval by 2 teams, Proc & Finance (due to financial impact).

  1. wanted to create Item change order-functionality on Item >tab Categories field Category (Purchasing).
    Problem 1: tab Categories field Category (Purchasing) is not part of Item Change Order (as far as I understand it).
