Requisition approval rules to auto reject the change order if new amount exceeds the original amount

Summary:

Hi All,

We have a requirement where requisition should get auto reject if new requisition header amount exceeds the original approved amount as part of change order. However, if requisition header amount remains same as part of requisition line amount adjustments across multiple lines then requisition should be auto approved.

This requirement is for expense based requisitions. Current Requisitions approval rules are defined based upon Job level hierarchy.

I tried configuring new rules to achieve above requirement by using attributes like Change in requisition modified lines amount but somehow my requisitions are referring to the approval rules which are defined for Creation of new requisitions and not the change order one.
