Implementing Lease Accounting without AR and AP Invoice and Payment Generation

Summary:

Our Business requirement in Phase 1 is to create Leases(Amend, Terminate etc.,) without using AR and AP Integration and no lease asset creation. Currently we have a thrid party integration for generating lease invoices and payment which gets posted to GL.

In Oracle we do have an option under system options to disable AP and AR Integration but my question is will there be any issues or things needs to be considered(Prod and Cons) before Lease accounting is implemented without AP and AR Integration?
