Disbursement on Termination for Global Transfers
Summary:
We have enabled Disbursement on Termination; however, if employee is just a global transfer, the absence plan balance is being disbursed while the employee is still eligible for the absence plan in the new assignment. Here is a scenario:
Plan name: PTO
Employee is part of LE1 and enrolled in PTO plan with 100 hours. Employee is then transferring to LE2 in which PTO plan is eligible in too —> system is disbursing the 100 hours automatically before he starts with new LE. We just want the balance being transferred over.
However, if the same employee was completely terminating (not a global transfer), then yes we want the hours to be disbursed automatically.
