Missing/incomplete Data produced in the Oracle fusion BI publisher reports XML Format

We have developed a custom BI Publisher report in the Oracle Fusion Cloud instance. The report is expected in the xml format. We have an issue here. i.e., the report completes successfully, however when we open the output file in the notepad, we see all the data with the xml tags. but we have observed that for few of the rows the data is incomplete and the xml tags are also incomplete.

For example the xml tag for a column name <EFFECTIVE_START_DATE> is populated as <EFFECTIVE_START_DA> which is leading to incomplete values in the data.
