Running the Collection Job Set for Reference Object 'Sales Order' multiple times a day.

Summary:

We have been running the Collection Job set with the below parameters 3 times daily @ 08:00, midday and 16:00, however we are now seeing a performance issue as the Collection Job is taking longer to complete, particularly for the Extract Oracle Fusion Entity job for the reference object ‘Sales Orders’.

We have questions therefore on when this object should be collected:

By collecting on ‘Sales Orders’ what is achieved in OM?

Do we need to collect ‘Sales Orders’ 3 times a day? There is no accurate document that exactly details what collecting ‘Sales Orders’ does?!

Should this object be only collected once a day out of hours?
