Can we run the standard commerce integration for specific condition?

We have requirement that we don't want to sync few of the cx attributes to CPQ when opportunity is in 4- Negotiation stage. It is possible to run this integration based on specific condition when we are editing the quote?

We are currently using standard commerce integration.

Currently it is importing all the CX opportunity data in CPQ in every stage. We have 2 attributes from CX that we don't want to sync to cpq when the quote is already created, and opportunity is in stage -4 - Negotiation.

Can we conditionally map the cx attribute to cpq while editing the quote?
