Workaround for integrating control budgets of type "Other" to EPM Cloud?

Hello,

As per the below documentation, integrating control budgets from Budgetary Control to EPM Cloud requires the Source Budget type to be "Planning"

However, once a control budget is created in Budgetary Control, the type cannot be changed.

Is there a workaround for integrating budget data into EPM without creating a new control budget? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
