UKG to HCM Absence Data Flow

This is for a client in UK , where UKG(Kronos) is a system for tracking and maintaining absences , however the same is relayed to HCM for processing Payroll. Payroll is in Oracle .

Currently Absences in HCM are implemented as per UK Guidelines provided by Oracle and is integrated to Payroll.Due to some system limitations at UKG(Kronos) end, they would like HCM to consume absences as an element entry.

Question is can we maintain compliance to various statutory payments e.g. SSP, SMP etc if consumed as element entry e.g. SSP? Please let us know if someone else has implemented a similar system architecture and also what would be the best possible approach so that absence payments correctly happen in Payroll.

Howdy, Stranger!
