VPD: External Predicate have length limits?

Summary:

We need to configure an External Predicate in custom VPD Profile for INVOICE table. Once the VPD is configured, if we access the screenset in the desired User Role and run a blank search we receive an error stating that the predicate has errors, but that is not true: we tried the query in the servlet (with necessary changes) and it works. Is it possible that there is a limit in the length of the External Predicate?

We tried with a shorter (but incomplete) version, and it worked…

Consider that in the snippet we substituted real values with "VALUE".
