How to dynamically update asset key flexfield

Hi,

We have configured the asset key flexfield to identify the source of asset addition (AP, Projects, Manual). Is it possible to dynamically update the asset key flexfield based on what the asset clearing account code combination identifier is from? For example if the addition is from AP then the asset key will automatically select the "Payables" value?
