LMS - Healthcare Security Access Roles

edited Dec 24, 2024 1:32PM in Learning

Summary:

We use Oracle Learn LMS within a 3-hospital healthcare framework and are re-evaluating our user security roles. Wondering what levels of security access anyone else who uses Oracle Learn within Healthcare (specifically for RNs, LPNs on the Floor, versus Clinical Education Nursing Teams, Epic Instructors/trainers) have in place.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Currently, our LMS Admin has same level of access as our Clinical Educators, Epic Instructors, etc., and given experience with other LMS's where Admin has higher level of access (so those unfamiliar with LMS can't overdo it with tools they don't know how to use), we felt inclined to create hierarchy. Can anyone share how they have designed their security roles for access?

Howdy, Stranger!
