Summary:

DM: How is the CTO "Aggregated planning history" calculated? Why are values getting multiplied? Why for some option it is blank when that option has high historical demand?

The customer wants to understand why this number is huge which might be impacting the "Final Option Demand Forecast" that is used by Supply Planning.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Actions > Edit Plan Options > Demand (tab) > Select Advanced Options > CTO Options:

  • Planning Percentage History Periods=730
  • Planning Percentage History Calculation Measure= Option Booking History
  • Planning Percentage Calculation Level=Item and Organization

Mode Item: AAA Organization:

  • Bookings History (2 years) = 20,820
  • "Aggregated Planning History" = 201,408

Howdy, Stranger!
