Restrict shared nodes under each top node without separate validation for each topnode

Summary: Looking for an option to restrict shared nodes under each top node. Since we have many top nodes, having a validation in place for each one separately is difficult. Can you suggest how can we put in place a common validation, so that this can be achieved?
