Adding approvals on: Automatic Conversion of Pending Workers

We have "Automatic Conversion of Pending Workers" schedule process running, which converts pending workers to employee. Does oracle allow adding approvals on that? we're hoping the enable approval step on this, so when the auto conversion happens, a manager has to approve that the employee has started. Right now this is causing an issue because we have pending workers converting to employees when they are a no-show, and we're having to manually cancel their relationship. has anyone encountered this before?
