asset acquisition dates disappeared in after completed adjust asset in spreadsheet

Summary:

User did the Adjustment using the Adjust Asset - Mass Transaction under transaction type change category.

corrected only the minor category as requested, There is no even a possibility to change anything else than categories.

But the another user at the operation noticed the acquisition dates disappeared during the transactions. We have downloaded the Fixed Asset report for these items, and the acquisition dates are really missing.  except for those where the change was done in the Adjust Assets in Spreadsheet.

Can anyone suggest here is which case it is possible. its almost 3k+ transactions.
