Ceiling Limit based on Length of Service after rollover takes place
Summary:
We have 2 accrual plans that have yearly accrual (front loaded). Calendar year is the plan term.
At the beginning of each year, Plan 1 balance gets rolled over into Plan 2.
For Plan 1, we have defined rollover max is 160 hours.
But for PLan 2, our policy has rules around maximum ceiling limit based on LoS. So for example anyone above 10 years, can have a ceiling limit upto 800 hours in that Plan.
Lets say employee has 100 hours remaining in Plan 1 on 12/31 and 805 hours in Plan 2 on 12/31/2024. On 1/1/2025, the 100 hours will get added to Plan 2, but we want the Plan 2 to forfeit any additional hours that are above 800.
